MATT WRIGHT
PASTOR

I serve as Cornerstone's lead pastor and was born in Ohio and lived in southern Illinois before growing up mostly in Florida. I was raised in the church, with my dad in ministry for over 30 years; my brother is also now a minister. I attended Florida Christian College (now Johnson University Florida) and also received an MA in theology from Wheaton Grad School; I am currently pursuing a PhD from Johnson University.  I served at two churches in Florida before being called to plant Cornerstone Christian Church in 2005, and have been the Sr. Minister since then. My son, Caleb was born in 2006, and he works hard to keep me very busy.

Tracie Cicero
CHILDREN'S DIRECTOR

I was born in Burbank, Illinois, a town not far from Midway airport. It was there that I attended my family’s church, with my Gramma, Mom, my Aunts & Uncles and cousins. (My kids were 4th generation) I grew up in that church and in 8th grade decided to start teaching Sunday School. I should have been in the Choir, but being with all the “old ladies” didn’t appeal to me. I decided to continue teaching and even though I have switched churches, I have continued to teach for over 25 years. I have never questioned God’s journey for me in the Sunday School. It’s where I belong. It’s also where my kids (Ashleigh & Dominic) belong. What better place to be in God’s house then with the ones you love.

JOANN HUMPHREY
WOMEN'S MINISTRY DIRECTOR

I was born and raised in the beautiful State of Virginia, and I have been a member of Cornerstone since 2012. I have a love for my Sisters-In-Christ of all ages that are a part of Cornerstone, and I was thrilled when asked to take on the position as the Women’s Ministry Director. My goal is to serve women and to teach them how to serve others. It is action based and focuses on living a Christian life based on the Bible.  Some of my tasks include hosting Bible studies, retreats, service projects, or women gathering events. My primary goal is to assemble the women of the church to spend time together developing their knowledge of God and to be more Christlike. What a wonderful position to have at Cornerstone!

katrina blase
Youth DIRECTOR

I serve as Cornerstone's Youth Group Director with help from my wonderful husband, Anthony Blase. I was born in South Carolina and moved a lot until I came to Illinois at the age of eleven. I have always had a passion for helping other people and decided to get my Bachelor's Degree in Organizational Psychology. Over time, it became apparent that my heart was being called to working with the Youth as they transition from childhood to adulthood. I feel immensely blessed to get to spend time with these wonderful teens every week.

FRANCOISE DUDOIT
CHURCH ADMINISTRATOR

I grew up in Hawaii (Nanakuli) and relocated to Northern California in the early 70’s. I moved from San Diego to the Chicagoland area in 1990 with my engineering job through Motorola. Prior to my engineering job I was a full time jazz singer with a group called Angel Flight and toured up and down the state including shows in Vegas. I have also performed on USO tours overseas at various military bases in the 60’s. I came upon Cornerstone one Sunday and decided to pop in. I was immediately embraced by the late Bernice Lindsey and loved the whole church welcoming me in.  I have been a church member ever since, 9 years and counting.  I retired from work in 2014 and was offered to take over the position of Office Administrator by Ed Anderson. The timing was perfect and I truly feel God has led me to be Matt’s right hand person. I truly enjoy the projects and assistance I give the church and also being able to continue to sing with our church band.
